Équipé d'une sono artisanale au grain ancien, le Power Dread Sound System promeut un retour à une vie simple et paysanne. Il partage avec le public un message spirituel à travers sa sélection roots, rock, reggae. L'influence du sound system de légende Jah Shaka et de sounds locaux fait naitre le Power Dread Studio qui produit des morceaux exclusifs dans un style bien particulier.
ROOTS I-VORIES
C'est l'association de deux jeunes Montpelliérains: Stepper'One
dubmaker/sélecteur et Mathis, Opérateur/MC.
Ils se complètent de par leur diversité allant de la production à la technique musicale ! Erwan ajoute à ses productions inspirées des années 90, une sélection variée avec du reggae international allant de l'Afrique aux Antilles en passant par l'Amérique du Sud. Mathis est passionné par les machines et la technique musicale, il mixe pour de nombreux crews, allant du traitement au Dubwise. Sa sélection, axée sur l'Afrique et la Jamaïque est complémentaire à celle d'Erwan.

There should also be some opportunity to work with some pushed snow to build some epic multi features.

Byo – crew, booze, food, tools and tent, we will provide the tunes and prizes!!!

Over Friday & Saturday night there would be a Soundsystem set up in the cafe, playing music from 6-12am. Outside would be fire pit and grill for campers cooking bbq dinner

We had been listening to and digging Roots Reggae for years, but it wasn’t until we felt the sound of Jah Lightning and Thunder from the Mighty ABA SHANTI-I sound system in our bones that everything changed. The fact that we were on that Notting Hill Carnival blessed corner led us to build our own sound system, because for us reggae sounded different from that day onwards. 23 years later and more than 250 hours enjoying ABA SHANTI-I perform, we still get goosebumps every time we hit that memory and the only way to keep inspired is to carry on listening to our teacher.

With that in mind, we want to present our family with the one and only ABA SHANTI-I - soundman, selecta and producer - in session with our sound system, in the city of Lisbon, on the 7th March ❤️ It’s hard to describe what an ABA SHANTI-I session is like without felling it in your body, be taken off your feet by the pressure and the selection of this master doing what he does best. We cannot recommend it highly enough. There probably wouldn’t be a Simply Rockers Sound System without that blessed and glorious day when we saw this living legend for the first time. Get ready for an earth shaking experience Musicbox Lisboa from the Earth Rocker himself.

On our part you can count on a tuned sound and a selection that goes from Roots to Steppa, always keeping it conscious.
