Véritable vétéran du sound system en France, Rootsy Lion crée le Jah Works Promotion sound system en 1996 à Paris, 10 ans plus tard il s'installe à Montpellier.
Pour l'accompagner dans le crew, on retrouve l'opérateur
Masta No mais aussi Léodica ; musicien talentueux qui joue en live du Melodica et du trombone.
L'équipe du Jah Works Promotion organise des soirées, compose et produit leurs propres musiques notamment grâce à leur label et la sortie de plusieurs vinyls incontournables. Ils ont sonorisé parmi les plus grands noms de la scène Reggae française et internationale et acquis une solide expérience d'animation.
Soyez en sûr, Ils viendront retourner l'Akwaba comme il se doit !

Sama Renuka est une chanteuse et auteure- compositrice active dans le milieu du Sound System et du Dub depuis 2014. Portée par des influences trip-hop, electro et soul, elle pose une voix sensible et envoûtante sur des productions reggae digitales puissantes.
▶︎ WELDERS HI FI ◀︎
Amateurs de reggae et de basses massives depuis des années, Albah (MC, sélecteur) & Jo (opérateur, sélecteur) ont construit leur propre sono en 2009 sur Avignon. Une recherche de clarté et de puissance qui se poursuit depuis pour partager cette musique qui ne prend à leur sens tout son relief qu'avec un sound system "homemade". Résident des soirées "Massive's Corner" depuis plus de 10 ans et jouant régulièrement avec les plus grands en France et en Europe, Welders Hifi a fondé en 2013 son propre label "Welders Records" et multiplie depuis les collaborations avec des artistes reconnus tels que Murray Man, King General, Charlie P, Ras Mykha, Joe Pilgrim, Dusty Wata ou encore Sama Renuka la chanteuse du collectif.

Amatah Keo est un chanteur et multi-instrumentiste basé en Vendée.
A l’occasion de la sortie de son premier album Sabaï Di, enregistré en Espagne par Roberto Sanchez sur le label Lone Ark Amatah nous présentera ses nouveaux morceaux .

Zion Gate Hi-Fi est un Sound System nantais et l'un des plus anciens de l'hexagone avec une sélection résolument "Roots & Culture" dédié à la culture Rastafari. Il est composé de Ras Abubakar à la sélection, de I Youth Tubby à l’opération & aux effets spéciaux et de Prince à l’animation. Natty sera au trombone et Krone au piano.

Ital Is Vital Hi-Fi est un Sound System dont la vocation est de retrouver l'esprit des sonos qui pouvaient jouer à la fin des années 70, début des années 80 en Jamaïque et en Angleterre avec le même type d’équipement qu’à l’époque.
