The highlights of the mix include the latest single from Tuff Scout, with Carlene Anderson, called Bird In Flight, a beautiful song with soulful vocals and a vintage reggae instrumental from the talented producer Gil Cang. I also played music from Roots Garden, Nick Manasseh's label, and an unreleased yet song by Earl 16, forthcoming on the album Rise Up! - The Riz Records Story, which showcases the best creations released on Riz Records, a label founded by Gil Cang and Nick Manasseh.
All the music fits very well in the roots reggae genre, featuring conscious lyrics and beautiful melodies.

The mix goes full circle, starting with a brilliant melodica cut from Mystical Rising, and ending with another melodica piece by Sir Larsie I.

Between these marking points you'll hear some fresh dub, coming from LionPaw's Cultural Warriors label, in the form of his latest offering, which features Prince Jamo in a reinterpretation of Dennis Brown's Slave Driver. Also included in this mix is the latest release from Unlisted Fanatic, out on his label Sir Runnin', with vocals from Jah Melodie, and his second 12" which features Paul Fox. Other highlights come from labels like Descendant Music, Higher Regions, and Reggae Roast.

The secret dub in this package is an unreleased yet track from Dub Stuy's debut LP, Battle Cry, this one with a more rootikal vibe.
