Amplifying Reggaeneration sound's Legacy
Peace Messenjah Sound System is the evolution of the Reggaeneration sound collective, whose journey began back in 2008. The sound system began taking shape in 2018 when selectors Cool Jah and Dub Spencer acquired two powerful 18″ super scoops and transformed them into a sound system that had long served as the cultural heartbeat of Slovenj Gradec city, fondly known as "Culture to the Top."
Before the onset of the pandemic, they introduced the ROOTS IN THE WOODS sound system culture festival. This festival has flourished over the years, attracting renowned artists from around the globe as well as the finest Slovenian talents.
